Poste et missions:
Within the Business Unit dedicated to a major automotive constructor, the Project Department is looking for a Deputy Project Manager in order to manage the development of a project, which has recently been attributed to Leoni, in its Production Plant located in Morocco. He will support the Project Manager located in France. The role of the VIE Deputy Project Manager is to coordinate the development activities of the project within the plant, under the responsibility of the Project Manager. He will be responsible for Project Planning, Profitability, Investments, Resources in order to meet Leoni and the customer’s requirements.
The main missions of the role are as follows:
- Coordination with the customer located in Japan and UK, also with the Leoni Project Team dispatched in Morocco, France, Japan, UK and Romania.
- Organize and animate Project Team Weekly Meetings
- Represent the company during the customer meetings, held on a regular basis
- Set up a close cooperation with the Project Team Members
- Report to BU Management on a defined regular basis with standard tools
- Ensure Process and Product qualification with the support of Quality and Technical departments
- Build the project planning in cooperation with the PM and the Team. Share and agree with the customer. Secure its execution
- Follow the project margin, investments costs and development costs
- Apply the Leoni Quality Process in every task of the project management
Profil:
Ability to lead interdisciplinary and international teams in challenging situations
Good analytic abilities and standardized solution-oriented working methods
Very good social, intercultural and communicative competence
Team oriented / Customer oriented
Technical Master’s Degree or equivalent
Fluent in English & French
General knowledge of project management, industrial production and profitability aspects
The ideal candidate will have at least an experience (internship) in a plant or an industrial environment.
