Overview:

This is a lead position on the L Brands QA team responsible for leading testing on small / medium sized projects.  In addition to leading the work of testers, this role involves frequent collaboration with IT and business leaders on projects to ensure effective planning, communication, and issue resolution.  The position reports administratively to a QA Manager and has no direct reports.  L Brands utilizes a Offshore model to support testing activities, and this role will require frequent collaboration functional and technical teams across shores.

Responsibilities:

·  Able to lead testing activities on one Medium project or multiple smaller projects, including delivery of test strategy, test plan, and test status. 
·  Delivery experience leading projects through a standard software testing methodology (test planning, test scope identification, test case development, test execution, and defect management).
·  Strong experience with HP ALM / Quality Center, JIRA, or other test and defect management tools.
·  Demonstrates leadership accountability for testing on the projects assigned.
·  Exhibits confident, tactful oral communication with peers and IT leaders.
·  Develops and delivers formal written communication to IT and Business leaders with support from QA Manager.
·  Delivers day-to-day assignments with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
·  Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).
·  Independently drives issues to closure, escalating to leadership as needed.
·  Develops and delivers test strategies and plans, with minimal review and supervision.
·  Assists in identifying process improvement opportunities and implements solutions.
·  Able to influence others without authority in order to drive decision-making and solutions.
·  Applies a systematic approach to data gathering and analysis to make key decisions that are supported by facts.
·  Successfully multi-tasks across project and non-project assignments, delivering on time with direction on priority from QA Manager.
·  Provide coaching and feedback to matrixed team to drive day-to-day project work

 

Qualifications

·  12+ years of experience in the testing domain with at least 2 years of test leadership experience and 5* years in Data warehouse testing.
·  BE/MCA 
·  3 to 4 years functional testing experience in SAP
·  Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
·  Expert skills in monitoring, and troubleshooting data integration solutions; solid communication, interpersonal, leadership, and collaborative skills and a demonstrated ability for creative problem solving of business and technical challenges
