Based: Hammersmith, London

Duration: 1 Year

Start Dates: Monday 5th July 2021

The purpose of your role
Based in the Corporate Affairs team, you’ll be helping build and protect the L'Oréal brand. It goes without saying that you should be a strong team player with a bias for action who wants to make a positive difference in the world. This role is responsible for supporting the internal communications and corporate responsibility strategy.

Day-to-day you may be:

·  Supporting the day-to-day delivery of all internal corporate communications, working closely with a variety of stakeholders and partners across the business
·  Managing day to day internal communications channels including the intranet, weekly all-employee newsletter and internal advertising
·  Supporting the delivery of key internal moments and events including employee Town Halls, Citizen Day, Sustainability Week and Ethics Day 
·  Assisting with organisational aspects of the L’Oreal-UNESCO For Women In Science Programme as required by the FWIS programme officer
·  Liaising closely with charity partners, brands and key stakeholders
·  Managing employee volunteering and fundraising activities
·  Supporting on the creation of case studies and PR materials for our external communications
·  Supporting on social content for external communications
·  Updating and analysing data
·  Booking and handling of event logistics
·  Responding to charitable and education enquiries
·  Attending corporate affairs meetings and supporting on team activities as required
·  Supporting the corporate press office with administrative tasks

In order to be successful in this role you will need to have:

·        Excellent communication skills – written and verbal 

·        A natural networker with the ability to build strong relationships and rapport quickly

·        Attention to detail with the ability to develop creative and accurate written and digital communications content

·        Strong prioritisation skills, ability to balance multiple projects at any one time

·        A keen eye for design and knowledge of systems such as Mailchimp, Canva, PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel

·        Results driven with respect for deadlines

·        An interest in sustainability and corporate responsibility

You are...

·        Eligible to work in the UK

·        In your second year at University on a course which enables you to take an Industrial Placement Year (unfortunately if you are graduated you are not eligible).

These Assessment Centres are specific to function, so please be patient if you don’t get invited straight away – it might just be because your function’s Assessment Centre date isn’t until later on in the recruitment period!
