What are we looking for? 

A Commercial Controller at L’Oréal takes full responsibility for the financial management of the trade allowances for one of our largest brands and customer accounts. You will be required to work in a cross-functional team to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts (trends). The role requires a strategic mind-set & ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. You will be driven by delivering financial insight to enable sustainable growth whilst ensuring that internal controls are always respected.

Finance Excellence:

· 

Interpret financial results through maximizing financial systems (Compass, Boost, SAP) to providing actionable insight on customer P&L’s, sales growth analysis, gross margin analysis, customer trade margin and sell-in/sell-out data

· 
Provide finance training and development to commercial team

Internal Control:

·  Ensure group norms are respected at all times
·  End-to-end deal-to-cash management including balance sheet control

Business planning & optimization:

·  Preparation of Customer and Brand Budget and financial forecasts (Trends)
·  Monitoring of in-month tracking gross-to-net

Business partnering:

· 
Using the L’Oreal knowledge as well as market & financial expertise to understand, improve & challenge overall effectiveness of the business

Projects:

·  Leading high-profile finance and category projects such as Transformation of financial business planning process
·  Monitoring of in-month tracking gross-to-net

Requirements:

·  Minimal 3 years of financial planning & analysis (FP&A) experience
·  Degree in finance or accounting or professional accounting qualifications e.g. CPA/ CA/ACCA preferred
·  Ability to engage and influence business stakeholders
·  Strong collaboration and communication skills
