JOB TITLE: Assistant Manager, Education Administration

REPORTS TO: Manager, Education Administration

LOCATION: St. Petersburg, FL (NOC)

OVERVIEW:

The Assistant Manager, Education Administration assists in the planning and execution of in-store and other local brand education events and activities for the assigned brand(s) within the assigned geographic marketplace.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Coordinate all in-store class bookings and local events with under 75 attendees for the Brand within assigned marketplace.

· Build and maintain Master Calendar for assigned marketplace; track and report on bookings, attendance, sell outs and cancellations.

· Assist Education Administration Manager in creating, maintaining and reviewing final budgets for classes/events.

· Edit, cancel and maintain class descriptions and update SKUs in the system.

· Track class information in SalesForce.com for Education Administration Manager report; dispatch class assignments to educators and input bookings into database.

· Confirm ongoing status of classes with Stores, Sales and Educators.

· Coordinate flyer templates with Marketing; edit, print and distribute to Street and Store teams 90 days prior to class date.

· Communicate cancellations, potential cancellations, and sold out classes to Stores, Sales and other stakeholders.

· Reconcile all artist expense reports; process invoices and coordinate accruals with Accounting for manufacturer reimbursement tracking (TEA).

· Communicate with Product Fulfillment Coordinator to coordinate all store and event education logistics: sign-in sheets, class supply and product deliveries and pick-ups, call tags and equipment.

· Coordinate Continuing Education hour sign-in forms when applicable.

· Prepare monthly/quarterly Store and event Education overview report to Education Administration Manager.

· Maintain in-store database and issue reports to Education Administration Manager.

· Attend occasional education events and tradeshows as needed (minimal travel required).

· Participate in education planning meetings as needed.

· Perform other departmental duties as directed by Education Administration Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

· At least 2-3 years of related professional experience; beauty industry experience strongly preferred but not required

· Experience planning events and managing logistics remotely

· Strong computer skills, including MS Excel/Word (required) and SalesForce.com (preferred)

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong time-management skills and ability to multitask

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
