The Bulk Supply Chain (BSC) is responsible for:
- 4,000 customers
- 200,000 deliveries
- 1,000,000 tons delivered/year
- 450+ vehicles
- 15 transport companies
With 22 million kilometers driven every year, we are always looking for ways to improve competitiveness by maximizing efficiency. In 2017, the BOD team will be continuing implementation a portfolio of 12+ projects with focus on simplifying and renewing the supply chain.
IT, Data Analysis are key to logistics efficiency which is why we are seeking a strong contributor in the area of database management and analysis on some very interesting ongoing projects.
You will be part of the Bulk Operations Department & Product Management department reporting to Daisuke Kato, Digitalization and Special Project Team Leader.
Your main responsibilities will be:
● Data Analysis of Supply Chain Activities (sourcing, distribution and etc.)
● Production & Demand Forecast across the country on both short-term and long-term period
● Development and Optimization of Internal Reporting Database
● Daily & Monthly Reporting of key activities and exceptions
● Development of an IT tool for Supply Chain Optimization (Manufacturing vs. Logistics)
● Implementation of on board computers for 400+ drivers
● Creation of asset ID and scanning solution
Academic background: IT or Mathematics
Key competences / required key understandings:
- Experience working directly with both Business and Technical stakeholders
- Database (example: MS Access, SQL Server)
- Experience in Tableau / Power BI
- Knowledge of supply chain / logistics an advantage
Interpersonal skills:
- Can do attitude.
- Enjoy dynamic business environment.
English is mandatory.
Japanese ou chinese is a plus.
