KPMG is currently seeking an Associate/Senior Associate in Risk & Compliance - FS Regulatory & Compliance for ourRisk Advisory Solutions practice.

Responsibilities:

·  Participate in large-scale financial services initiatives focused on delivering operational, technical, and/or product development changes associated with system and operational conversions, integrations, enhancements, framework development and/or process re-engineering initiatives
·  Contribute to strategic development and execution of risk management programs including scope definition, business case development, requirements gathering, future state design, functional and technical design, vendor or third-party assessment, testing, training, and implementation phases
·  Participate in delivering capital markets, commercial, and/or consumer financial services projects, including assessing current state and identifying issues, developing recommendations aligned to industry leading benchmarks, and developing high level conceptual and detailed design recommendations
·  Contribute to design, preparation, and analysis of reports and findings in a clear, logical, and concise manner
·  Develop and sustain relationships with client personnel and identify opportunities to provide additional services

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Associate:

·  Assist partners and senior managers in the creation of proposals, business development, and practice administration; Supervise and mentor associates, new hires, and interns on engagements
·  Facilitate meetings and manage day-to-day client communication; serve as a liaison between clients and KPMG leadership
·  Identify and communicate technical matters to both clients and upper management

Qualifications:

·  A minimum of one year of financial services, risk management and/or project management experience
·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
·  Moderate project management or Project Management Office experience in support of a large-scale change initiative; demonstrated ability to create and sustain meaningful client relationships
·  Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
·  Travel may be up to 80-100%
·  Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Additional Qualifications for Senior Associate:

·  A minimum of three years of relevant experience; previous supervisory and consulting experience preferred with well-established understanding of business dynamics and operations; knowledge of financial services products and services, sales, operations, policies and procedures
·  Exposure to risk management and control concepts and ability to identify risk, evaluate impact, and provide mitigation suggestions in areas such as third-party risk management, operational risk, and enterprise risk
·  Exposure to software development process, IT project lifecycle, and IT architecture design is a plus, including programming experience with specific software languages or frameworks such as SQL, MS Visual Studio.NET, Visual Basic, Java, and C++
