Job Description

Job Title: Student Recruitment Coordinator

Reporting to: Student Recruitment Assistant Manager


Job Purpose

This role supports the student recruitment team through effective organisation of assessment events alongside outreach and attraction activities to recruit across a range of student programmes – from work experience and apprenticeships through to graduate roles. The coordinator role plays a key part in a team that is dedicated to ensuring KPMG’s student recruitment programmes have a strong profile at target schools and universities, and its recruitment process is leading within its industry. The co-ordinator will provide an efficient, high quality, client focused service for applicants and the business alike, throughout the entire recruitment process.

Operations.

- Assist with organisation of recruitment Events, including event logistics
- Manage candidates throughout recruitment process providing an exceptional candidate experience
- Liaise with interviewers and assessors to secure availability for recruitment events
- Deal with any cancellations from candidates and assessors, as and when these occur flagging any issues to the manager for that region
- Work closely with the manager population to flag backlogs or availability issues
- Follow up with interviewers and assessors if notes are not submitted within agreed SLAs.
- Complete screening of applications
- Other related duties as required
- Manage centralised recruitment inboxes and respond to queries within SLA
- Add candidate details to offer tracking spreadsheets and report on offers accepted/declined
- Complete ‘offer forms’ for candidates following recruitment events
- Support the recruitment officer with delegated business as required and assist with any ad-hoc operational duties as needed
- Process of expenses on e-payables and dealing with candidate expense queries
- Collate reports on activity and feedback to management to aid evaluation of the regional recruitment events and any outreach activity.
- Respond to telephone enquiries ensuring that the phone is answered within SLA
Attraction and Outreach Activities

- Work with wider team to assist with organisation, promotion and delivery of internal and external events. This will include working with schools, universities, students and a variety of internal departments
- Liaise with staff event volunteers to brief prior to each event and send meeting requests and joining instructions
- Book events, venues, catering and related event administration
- Liaise and build relationship with key stakeholders such as colleagues at schools and university careers services
- Manage event distribution, invitation lists and newsletter lists
- Track stock levels and locations of marketing materials
- Assist with the implementation of an internal communications strategy to build awareness of how employees can get involved with Student Recruitment related activities

- Ability to demonstrate empathy and a knowledge of the student recruitment market place

- Strong IT skills including Excel, Power Point, databases and internet research
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholder
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with a keen eye for detail
- Flexibility to work within a fast paced environment

- Self-motivated to work autonomously and also a good team player
Whilst this role is office based, you will be required to travel to KPMG offices and some events around the country – this will require overnight stays on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year.
