Job description

The Marketing department of the KPMG office in Montreal is looking for a Communications Coordinator to join its new team. Reporting the Marketing Manager, Communications and Client Experience, the coordinator will work in collaboration with the Quebec Marketing team to support the strategic and operational priorities of the firm in a collaborative, dynamic environment, keeping abreast of the latest trends. The objective is to be creative in a corporate world!

Key Responsibilities

·  Support the communications programs.
·  Plan and create Quebec content for digital media.
·  Develop and oversee the implementation of the social media strategy and generate content.
·  Coordinate various projects relating to communications programs, from the creation phase to the release, and ensure content development, layout and release of frequent communications to both internal and external stakeholders.
·  Assist with media relations and monitor media coverage and trends.
·  Provide insights to colleagues and executives across the firm.
·  Be responsible for and coordinate photo and video shoots.

Job Requirements

·  University degree in Communications, Journalism or equivalent.
·  3-5years of proven experience supporting or leading communications programs, and crafting impactful messages and content.
·  Exceptional written, oral and digital communications skills.
·  Fluency in French and English, written and spoken (essential).
·  Proven ability to think strategically, and be creative to accomplish tasks.
·  Ability to convey complex messages in a clear, concise and modern way.
·  Superb project management skills and attention to detail.
·  Ability to inspire confidence among internal client teams, including senior leaders, and to provide valued communications insight.
·  Resourceful, hands-on self-starter with a strong work ethic and a collaborative, team-oriented style.
·  A fast learner who follows trends and innovation in digital media and communications.
