KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, E&M to join our Events & Meetings organization.

Responsibilities:

·  Develop strategic recommendations with clients on meeting or event concepts, including goals, objectives, budget, and outcomes
·  Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with all levels of assigned client groups, understand their practice or industry objectives, help to ensure service delivery is aligned and fully supports the firm priorities and goals
·  Lead as project manager, guide and advise team members and colleagues from other internal departments on the execution of all aspects, including development of project time line, target audience identification, budget, agenda and content, registration, onsite logistics, and collateral
·  Create, manage, and hold accountability for meeting or event budget; exhibit fiscal judgment and responsibility in the guidance provided to client
·  Manage team members in either a project or performance management capacity
·  Manage performance, independence and risk management processes related to vendors hired to support a specific meeting or event, including facility venues, production companies, ground transportation vendors, and entertainment

Qualifications:

·  Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in event marketing, events and meeting management; preferably within a professional services environment
·  Minimum of two years of supervisory experience
·  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
·  CMP or CMM certification is preferred
·  Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
·  Ability to travel up to thirty percent annually
