Roles and Responsibilities

• Run, monitor, and take corrective actions on BODS/BWoH process chains, run daily including all US and India holidays and over weekends. Understanding data pull constraints from source ECC/CRM and other systems (Databus...).

• Process chain hours are from 11PM EST to 9AM EST. But flexible support times, beyond the indicated, are necessary during month-end/cut-over/heavy workload and any during any production issues that may happen.

• Within HANA system - good knowledge in understanding architecture, HANA model activation, XS job scheduler, SQL, Calculation/Attribute Views, running data reconciliation, and identify (if any) performance tuning opportunities/gaps.

• Within BWoH/BW system - good knowledge of source system data initialization, initial loads, delta loads and management, error handling within BEx, Info Cube (CPM) Info Packages and DTP.

• Within Business Objects - good knowledge of CMC/security setup, report running, scheduling and troubleshooting.

• Within BODS - monitoring of jobs, and take corrective actions (if necessary)

• Handle application support in areas of daily business communications to various groups.

• Troubleshoot incidents and other support issues within defined SLA.
Perform testing and verification after BODS/HANA/BWoH/BO transport changes to help ensure the application system is up and running; escalating issues as necessary

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or related work experience

• Advanced technical expertise of SAP HANA/ BWoH/BW/BODS system (including extraction, design and modeling) with at least 3+ years of relevant SAP BW/HANA experience

• Good Knowledge of Business Objects and ABAP is a plus.

• Ability to develop functional specification documentation and provide solutions based on the Business requirements.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills are desired. Ability to work as a good team player
