Roles and Responsibilities:
We are recruiting for an Assistant Manager in the Research and Benchmarking Team.
Working as an Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Project Management
• Address the complex research needs for business development, updates on market development, and client engagements. Conceive, design and execute secondary research on:
o Company: its scope of business activity and business model, segments, revenue model, strategy, issues and challenges, M&A history, competitive positioning, organization structure, key management, recent developments, SWOT, etc.
o Market and competition: industry value chain, size and growth outlook, trends and drivers, challenges, competitive landscape, Porter's / PESTLE analysis, etc.
o Financials: broad analysis of income statement, balance sheet, cash flows, ratios, segment performance, etc.
• Drive the analysis of the above to draw key insights; articulate findings through visually appealing / appropriate frameworks and in a clear, concise, and grammatically correct business English (both written and verbal)
Qualifications and Skills:
Education / professional qualifications
The candidate must have 8-10 years of research experience with a professional services firm / third-party KPO / specialized research houses, or captive/in-house research/strategy/market intelligence division; with post-graduate qualification;
Prior Experience:
• Prior experience in team management (of 7-8 juniors for 2-3 years) - ability to identify team members' strengths, development areas and training needs, effectively allocating work, providing feedback, etc
• Strong numerical, analytical and strategic thinking skills, and sound business acumen.
Post Graduate (MBA / CFA / CA / M.Com. / PG in Economics)
