Roles and Responsibilities

• Conducts Information Technology audits for clients to determine effectiveness and accuracy of IT controls (Applications, databases, operating systems, data, infrastructure, processes etc.) and ensure compliance with the IT procedures/ standards such as ISO 27001, COBIT etc.
• Documents IT audit work performed along with findings and associated recommendations. Escalates any unusual findings to determine and remedy risk factors.
• Interacts and follows-up with concerned departments to establish action plans expected from the IT audit findings to ensure the timely execution in an efficient manner.
• Follows-up, on a regular-basis, the course of actions generated from the IT audit reports and ensures its execution in an efficient manner and on a proper time to minimize risks to an acceptable level.
• Provide external audit support for financial audits pertaining to IT applications.
• Conduct/ participate in Business/ Operational Internal Audits (Non- IT Internal Audits) when required.
• Performs other duties in line with scope of work and as assigned by the direct manager/supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills

CISA or CISSP (or working towards one of them). Bachelor' degree or more. Certification or Knowledge towards standards such as ITIL, CoBiT, ISO 27001, etc.

Experience and Background

1 to 3 Years of experience in IT Auditing. Self-motivated and fast learner. Experience at building relationships. Aptitude and interest towards research about various risks/ controls in the IT Domain/ IT Applications. Ability to finish the audits/ other tasks within the assigned deadlines. Ability to draft reports effectively.
