Data Analyst, Lighthouse

Job description

Successful candidates should have a passion for all things data; from database architecture and data extraction to high value analytics, visualization, data mining and predictive analytics.

The role involves analysing data analysis results in support of the Advisory function and provide key insights to clients businesses:
• Collaborate with key stakeholders with confidence
• Review, analyse and interpret business data and information needed across key business process such as sales, procurement, inventory, payroll etc
• Analyse complex problems, and ability to share creative and innovative solutions to solve client's problems
• Excellent skills to perform data analysis and present analysis through use of visualisation tool such as Tableau / Power BI
• Ability to identify quality gaps and highlight trends or outliers and propose solution for gaps identified
• Ability to use basic SQL extraction for database
• Ability to use other programming language for data analysis such as R-Programming, Nime etc is an added advantage

The ideal candidate should:

• able to share new ideas on how to analyse certain data set provided
• demonstrate the ability to think objectively and 'think outside of the box'
• have a passion to join a Greenfield practice
• possess a recognised Bachelor Degree or Master's Degree in a Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Accountancy, Finance, or a similar quantitative field of study
• have minimum 1-4 years of recent related experience within the software, technical, consulting, auditing (using CAATS) or similar industries
• familiar with how Data Analytics can be applied to various industries and clients to derive operational and benefits, and to monitor and manage risks
• experience with using data analytics tools and have Accounting / Financial Auditing knowledge
• demonstrate an ability to organise, coordinate, and execute on details
• possess the ability to multi-task, prioritise based on multiple job requirements
