KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Director, Attorney as Counsel to join our Legal, Regulatory and Compliance organization.

Responsibilities:

·  Oversee and conduct internal investigations, working with the CCO (Chief Compliance Officer) to develop and execute the Firm’s compliance strategy and protocols
·  Draft and review investigative reports and other documentation in preparation for review by Firm leadership
·  Identify ethics and compliance issues and trends, and develop policy proposals and other strategies to address them
·  Coordinate with and provide advice to Firm management in connection with investigations, special projects and strategic initiatives
·  Educate Firm personnel on compliance-related issues and provide advice and guidance on Firm training relating to ethics and compliance issues

Qualifications:

·  Minimum of twelve years of legal experience handling internal investigations and/or complex litigation matters in a leading law firm or large corporate environment
·  Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited college or university
·  Extensive investigatory experience
·  Ability to work independently handling a variety of high-level activities
·  Excellent writing and editing skills
·  Ability to exercise sound judgment and work collaboratively with individuals in multiple groups at all levels of the Firm
