·  UK educated Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) or UK educated B.Sc Building Surveyor preferred

KPMG's Physical Due Diligence team ('KPMG SGA') is a specialist property consultancy providing Chartered Building and Environmental Consultancy services to a 'blue chip' client base of Australasian property investors, owners, tenants, financiers and asset managers.

At present we are looking for a Building consultant to join the KPMG SGA business. The core skills needed in this role are the technical assessment of the physical condition of commercial assets coupled with a clear understanding of client property and asset strategies.

Your new role

A Chartered Building Surveyor is required to assist a Brisbane based team with commercial property inspections and professional reporting, but also to support the national team as and when required. Good building knowledge & technical expertise required, plus 2-4 yrs+ PQE in consulting is essential.

You will excel in this role if you have first class technical skills and an inquisitive and thorough attitude to building reports. Good salary & prospects working in a young dynamic team.

You bring to the role:

You will have the core competencies that include:

·  Good knowledge of buildings and properties and the problems and issues to look for when dealing with due diligence assessments
·  The ability to write and present a cohesive, coherent and technically sound report for readership by high level executives
·  Excellent liaison skills with fellow consultants and engineers to be able to source relevant information for compilation in reports and assessments
·  A very professional demeanour that will allow interaction with high level property executives in formal and informal settings What we offer you
