Position Summary

The Campus Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Primary Recruiter(s) with both full cycle recruitment activities and day-to-day recruitment activities.

Role and Responsibilities

·  Create and maintain database of all full time campus recruits, summer students and co-op students for local markets.
·  Compile and track standard recruitment metrics (i.e. hiring targets, results and financial data).
·  Manage the Applicant Tracking System from start to finish - posting to offer letter generation - and all required communications with candidates on a timely basis through the system.
·  Maintain department expenses including coding and submitting all invoices.
·  Monitor and reconcile the prepaid g/l account for local campus recruiting costs.
·  Liaise directly with university career centers and arrange on campus interviews which includes confirmation on dates selected, room allocations, timing of interviews, names of interviewees, etc. as required.
·  Plan and coordinate local Campus Recruiting events as requested. Includes deciding on venue (in conjunction with the primary recruiters) and arranging for food, audio-visual equipment, etc. Negotiate with hotels / venues for best rates.
·  Be aware of all ongoing recruiting matters / events and be able to respond to queries immediately.
·  Accept phone calls and act as an 'information desk' for potential recruits ensuring all their questions are answered. Very important to have excellent telephone manner as these students will develop their first impressions of the firm during these contacts.
·  Arrange payment of local sponsorships, hotel bookings and all other local Campus Recruiting expenses.
·  Liaise with learning to assist with registration and coordination of Intern Training and Audit Fundamentals Training.
·  Coordinate logistics for information sessions: meeting rooms, conference calls, nametags, together giveaways, etc.
·  Mail information packages as requested.
·  Arrange logistics (transportation, accommodations, etc.) for KPMG staff and for students attending KPMG events as required.
·  Track names of students that attend all KPMG information sessions and corresponding feedback on those students as provided by KPMG representatives.
·  Print out and collect all the Candidate feedback forms to give to Campus Recruiters.
·  Assist in coordination and attendance at local recruiting meetings and events which includes booking of facilities and catering, organizing materials for distribution, sending out emails to invitees and receiving RSVPs.
·  Order inventory as required.
·  Coordinate with National Campus Recruiting re: orders for giveaways and collateral.
·  Manage organization and storage of campus recruiting inventory and files.
·  Respond to web inquiries.
·  Perform related work as requested by the primary recruiter(s) and other projects as required.
·  Implementation of all campus recruitment activities.
·  Work closely with the Manager, Campus Recruitment to help develop the overall campus strategy and initiatives for the recruitment period.
·  Maintain and enhance KPMG/University relationships, including but not limited to, working with career centres, various student organizations, managing sponsorship requests, etc.
·  Screening and selection of quality university student and graduate candidates.
·  Assist with management of the co-op and summer student programs.
·  Co-ordination of certain activities related to the on boarding of new recruits.
·  Manage various projects as required (e.g. Local Conferences, Campus Ambassador Program, Summer Interns, and Communications Strategies).
·  Monitor the competition and their strategies to ensure KPMG remains competitive.
·  Develop new and innovative ideas and initiatives to distinguish KPMG from its competition.
·  Internal client management - work in partnership with local office Recruiting Coordinators throughout the recruitment cycle and report to the Audit Leadership Team on strategy and results as required.
·  Provide input and insight in to the overall strategy and plan for national campus recruitment at KPMG. Includes identifying specific new and ongoing initiatives, implementing an action plan, and concluding on each initiative.
·  Implement and continuously consider improvements in National Campus Recruiting policies, procedures, and processes ensuring streamlined processes and maximum operational efficiency and effectiveness.
·  Work closely with the core and extended members of the campus recruitment team. Includes developing and maintaining relationships with the extended network of campus recruiters.
·  Assist in coordinating KPMG's campus recruitment activities on shared campuses across the Country (i.e. The Maritimes, Montreal etc.).
·  Provide front-line support for all the campus recruiters as it relates to the implementation of new initiatives and programs.
·  Provide information and ongoing support on all campus recruitment questions and issues.At times, business needs arise and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal work day or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job. Likewise, people need time to devote to personal matters, and our approach to flexibility provides for this.

Skills & Qualifications

·  1-2 years experience as Executive Assistant and/or in Recruitment.
·  Bachelor's degree or related post-secondary education.
·  Advanced Microsoft Office skills in addition to MS Access; PowerPoint; Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; applicant tracking system technology preferred.
·  Experience in campus recruitment and/or professional services environment preferred.
·  Strong project management and organizational ability.
·  Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
·  Highly motivated, with ability to deal with multiple priorities and activities; strong time management skills and ability to work with deadlines and under pressure.
·  Ability to successfully complete projects and tasks in a time-sensitive manner.
·  Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to work cooperatively with people who have a diverse range of skills, styles and approaches.
·  Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills to large groups.A collaborative team player with ability to form and maintain strong relationships.
