KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join ourBusiness Tax Services practice.

Responsibilities:

·  Understand different software development methods and train peers on the technical nuances of software development
·  Lead interviews with the computer science personnel to discover information that represents research and development activities
·  Translate technical software development activities into IRC § 41 & IRC § 199 definitions for qualified research and development
·  Work with a group of engineers to develop operational solutions for a service industry practice
·  Work autonomously to design, code, test, document, and debug programs
·  Work with cross-functional teams to define operational opportunities for improvement

Qualifications:

·  Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2008 r2 and later
·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
·  Proficient in Microsoft Visual Basic, Microsoft SQL Server (expertise is stored procedures and user defined functions), and database structures
·  Knowledge of web server infrastructure, database performance tuning, and programing in HTML
·  Experience documenting software development projects and developing web based real time data collection applications
·  Fifty percent travel (primarily in the Mid-Atlantic Region)
