KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Meetings Planner to join our Events & Meetings organization.

Responsibilities:

·  Execute client’s strategic initiatives by developing meeting or event concept, goals, objectives, budget, and outcomes
·  Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned client groups
·  Research venues, negotiate contract terms, support agenda and content development, and oversee registration needs, plan menus, budgets and on-site logistics
·  Foster collaborative relationships with other team members and internal departments
·  Work both independently on projects and as part of project teams

Qualifications:

·  Minimum of three years of progressive experience in events and meetings planning; preferably within a professional services firm
·  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; CMP certification is preferred
·  Proficient with strategic meeting management tools (Cvent), Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
·  Ability to prioritize projects and work with other team members to meet deadlines in a high volume, fast-paced environment to support the E&M organization for both the national and field teams
·  Demonstration of strong fiscal management and understanding of data metrics usage is preferred
·  Ability to travel up to twenty-five percent
