KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our Atlanta Ignition practice.

Responsibilities:

·  Work with Tax business teams to identify and analyze business problems, provide technical feasibility, estimates, and develop innovative solutions leveraging one or more digital technologies (Process Robotics, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Data Visualization, etc.)
·  Serve as a developer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or several of the above mentioned domains and help establish a competency in those areas for Tax Ignition
·  Prepare process and technical documentation and artifacts, actively participate in proof of concepts, hackathons, vendor product evaluations and present findings to team
·  Mentor and lead junior team members and provide technical oversight in hands-on manner on design and development tasks
·  Interface with internal stakeholders and external clients and work effectively with various technology groups, clients and tax domain experts

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or foreign equivalent (Master’s degree preferred) in engineering, computer science or other quantitative disciplines like statistics, math or others plus two to five years of relevant programming experience.
·  Proven experience with programming in one or more Object Oriented Programming languages such as C#, Python, or Java, with the ability to pick up new languages and technologies quickly
·  Experience with one or more digital technologies like Data & Analytics (Alteryx, Talend, PowerQuery etc.) Visualization ( Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI etc), Automation (Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, WinAutomation, UiPath etc), Machine Learning (SciPy, numpy, etc ), Big Data tools (Spark, Hive, Pig, etc)
·  Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills with strong analytical and quantitative abilities
·  Willingness and ability to travel as needed, at times with relatively short notice and to work on-site at client premises.
·  Excellent presentation, communication (written and verbal), and listening skills. Also, adaptability and flexibility and willingness to shift between technologies and roles
