Job Description

Responsible for managing the Training and Competency Framework in support of the Operations in pursuit of its business goals.

The role is responsible for the maintenance of a robust and appropriate training and competency scheme, tailored to each Managed Services assignment. Ensuring that all materials and records are kept up to date and stored appropriately (e.g. role profiles, training materials)

The role will also manage the communications and recognition frameworks within Managed Services.

The role will involve working with multiple internal functions, so the ability to proactively build and maintain internal networks, engage and communicate effectively will be key.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Responsible for maintaining Training and Competence Framework and associated documentation
- Creation and management of training plans to ensure all staff achieve competency within reasonable timeframe
- In liaison with operations management, SMCs and operational trainers, ensure maintenance of competency levels through use of staff knowledge assessment and TNA to deliver targeted refresher training and alerts
- Maintain policy, procedures and working practice guides, as well as communication and training logs, ensuring compliance with all legal and relevant regulatory requirements and codes of practices / conduct
- Effective co-ordination of events and communications across Operations to facilitate consistency and optimal utilisation of resources
- Creation and management of communication plans for roll out of change, during set-up and throughout the life of the engagement
- Responsible for developing and administering Managed Services recognition scheme, as directed by operations management
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the Talent Management framework for deployment in operations
- Provide support and cover for People Support Manager

Skills Required

- Min 3 yrs in an operational environment, where at least 1 yr has been spent undertaking activities relevant to this role
- Good understanding of training approaches and methodologies
- Good attention to detail and proficiency with word and excel applications
- Structured approach to communication, based on recipient and content
- Language requirements: Fluent in English and Mandarin. Both written and spoken
- Proven ability to work with other functions, including cross-divisional and external suppliers to achieve business objectives
- Awareness of CDD regulation, procedures and processes
- Preferred background in Financial services industry, although not essential
