The Banking regulatory environment has advanced noticeably over the past few years, particularly due to the introduction of the European Banking Authority's Single Rulebook, which aims to provide a single set of harmonised prudential rules that govern financial institutions throughout the EU. In response, we are looking to augment our team and are looking for people who are interested and keen to build and develop their career within the banking and financial institutions regulatory environment.

We are currently looking for an individual with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a banking and financial services environment to join our well established KPMG Risk Consulting Advisory Services team. The role will be to assist clients on a daily basis in banking and financial institution related regulatory matters. This would include assisting clients through providing advice and assistance on a variety of areas including but not limited to risk management processes and internal controls, advice on capital and liquidity adequacy, as well as provide assistance in the licencing processes for banks and financial institutions. This role provides great exposure, both within the KPMG network and wider afield, and, for the right candidate can provide further career and development opportunities.

We are looking for people who:

• Hold a university degree in banking, accountancy, finance, management or business administration, or similar;

• Have at least 1 - 2 years' experience in banking and/or financial services;

• Demonstrate the ability to be a strong team player and the ability to think laterally and practically;

• Are able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.

The successful candidate would ideally possess technical knowledge on local and European banking regulations and compliance obligations.
