Job Description

The role of the Warehouse Administrator to ensure that the physical inventory in the Kuehne + Nagel Warehouse is in line with the system of record. You will be working on your own initiative and you will be a key player in the warehouse team to offer solutions in a timely and efficient manner to the end customer to ensure all aspects of operation are completed with accuracy and quality.

Your tasks and responsibilities

·  Ensure that produce is received and issued in a timely manner

·  Ensure that all inventory received into the Warehouse is inputted on to the relevant WMS IT System

·  Maintain and control all relevant transactional documents so as to ensure that there is audit trail on all receipts and issues

·  Develop KPIs to measure performance, Stock accuracy, Receiving or Pick errors

·  Follow all Kuehne + Nagel warehouse and Inventory control procedures, as well as maintain and segregate all quarantine stocks as per Kuehne + Nagel procedures

·  Ensure that lines of communication are setup and that clear and timely information flows up and down the organisation and the customers

·  Ensure that all stock is maintained on the correct stock file and that all items are entered onto the system of record

·  Ensure Logistics Department operate to the highest productivity and competitive standard at all times

Your skills and experience

·  Be capable of performing materials management operational tasks in accordance with current standard operating procedures, work instructions and batch record requirements

·  Ensure their individual training and qualification records are sufficiently complete, prior to performing related activities

·  Be capable of understanding and responding appropriately to adverse events

·  Adhere to safety, quality & environmental compliance requirements. Ensuring that any adverse events or atypical scenarios are communicated appropriately

·  Be responsible for managing inventory both physically and electronically using the SAP

·  Full driver's license for driving internal vans
