Project Coordinator & Supervisor Administration | Mechelen | req44299

Kuehne+Nagel is looking for a Project Coordinator & Supervisor Administration to support and strengthen its contract logistics operations in Mechelen.

YOUR ROLE

As a project coordinator it is expected you take the lead in continuous improvement in close collaboration with branch, finance and departmental management within the different KN Drinks sites. The objective is a yearly funnel of saving projects to realize the contractual saving commitment without margin erosion. You will be a key player if it comes to tackling future challenges within our logistic environment. Amongst others, the challenges regarding city distribution and CO2 emissions will need to be addressed. You will intermediate between site/branch management and branch controlling to detect (potential) discrepancies between financial results and objectives. As a result you will work out preventive / corrective actions in order to achieve the financial targets. As a supervisor administration, you will be responsible for delivering an excellent administrative organization linked to the operational inbound, stock keeping and outbound flows for different customers. You will be based in a multi-user warehouse located in Mechelen but the entire Mechelen - Drinks organization will be in scope in regard to optimization of administrative processes. You will be reporting directly to the manager of the site and KN Drinks.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

·  A close collaboration with the different departments in Mechelen and the other KN Drinks sites (Wellen and Middelkerke) will be essential to achieve the set goals. You will be a member of the management team of the site / KN Drinks.
·  Actively participate in the project to establish the new AMAS footprint and take the lead in those projects linked to administration (scope 2019).
·  Lead the continuous improvement program for KN Drinks as of 2020 in collaboration with branch management and on department / site level to achieve the financial objectives of KN Drinks.
·  Delivering process improvements in your area, but also looking outside the boundaries of administration.
·  You will take the lead in KNPS implementation and maintaining these standards in close collaboration with department / site / branch management within the Mechelen site. You will be assisted by KN KNPS management and will receive extensive training to achieve the required level of KNPS competence.
·  As KN Drinks project coordinator you will also actively participate in (potential) tenders.
·  Supervision, coordination and final responsibility for the day-to-day administrative processes, including: problem solving on planning issues, internal and external KPI management, correct invoicing and general administration.
·  Stock management in collaboration with your team, the other departments and the customer. You will lead the meetings with the customer linked to stock management program s.
·  Key person in the handling of administrative, transport and warehouse claims to support the maintenance and further development of our customer relationships. The management of the KPI-table linked to the KN Drinks contractual KPI's will be part of your responsibility.
·  Brick wall the execution and follow-up of our quality, health, safety and security policy in close collaboration with the local QSHE manager.
·  Building and maintaining your team and stimulating development of the individual employees in your team.
·  Leading the daily production meeting with colleagues from distribution and warehouse in order to maintain and continuously improve operations.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

·  You have a bachelor / master degree in logistics or equal level by experience. Knowledge of business controlling is an asset.
·  You have 3 years of experience in an administrative function in a variety of activities (inbound, outbound, resource planning, stock management,...).
·  You are a born communicator, towards customers, external partners and suppliers.
·  You discovered a strong leadership within yourself. You can motivate and develop a team to achieve the team goals. Actual experience in leading people is an asset.
·  You have an analytical mindset and are not afraid of diving into a set of data out of which you need to draw information.
·  Your IT & IS skills: (advanced) MS Excel, experience with WMS and TMS is an asset.
·  Your language skills: professional level of Dutch and English, speaking and writing. Other languages (e.g. French) are an asset.
·  You like a healthy level of stress in your function and you are willing to work flexible hours.
