Seafreight Pricing Analyst

Your Role

Work with Seafreight Product Managers and Sales to support set growth targets. Formulate and manage replies to bid requests (RFQs) . Develop comprehensive pricing and bid management strategy for the region.

Your Responsibilities

* Formulate timely and accurate responses to Global RFQs and local pricing requests;
* Negotiate pricing for US export trade lanes;
* Ensure coverage of the quoted rates (US export) upon the official award announcement;
* Create the routing guide for the awarded US export lanes;
* Manage and update pricing for existing customers;
* Work closely with Product and Sales Managers to develop strategies for new/ existing customers;
* Work closely with Trade Manager to monitor trends on all trade lanes;
* Create and present monthly KPIs (including but not limited to: number of quotes/RFQs been handled, success ratio, number of gained TEUs, etc).

Your Skills and Experiences

* Bachelor degree in Business or equivalent experience;
* Possess solid PC operational knowledge along with MS Office applications experience;
* Seasoned listening skills;
* Very strong analytical skills;
* Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills;
* Self-disciplined and self-motivated to produce outstanding results;
* Strong telephone and networking skills;
* Detail oriented;
* Strong negotiation skills;
* Ability to think outside the box.
