Your tasks and responsibilities

Support the South West Sales team in finding , contacting and bringing in new business .Generate approx. $1.6M in GP per year investing in 1 Business Intelligence Coordinator in each area - sourced with the right market intel tools to filter the best business opportunities. Leverage market intelligence platforms to generate and drive new business opportunities into your area's sales pipeline. Help reduce administration for sales reps and the spent in contacting non-responsive/unqualified prospects à increase active selling time à more business
ROI: Demonstrate area level GP growth through systematic lead measurement and record keeping. Lead Generation and Pre-Qualification maximizing the use of our paid market intel tools (PIERS, Datamyne, Panjiva, Dun & Bradstreed). Launch automated marketing campaigns via CoreLOG to nurture leads to increase volume of marketing qualified leads with proper handover to sales Follow-up reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying, analyzing, profiling prospective accounts for Field Sales
• Cold calling the prospect company to identify / collect Decision Maker information
• Review, triage, qualify and distribute incoming leads from various local, regional, international collaborators from Management, Sales and Trade Development, Operations
• Support in setting up sales calls for leads to support Sales team to increase active selling time.
• Provide financial, market and company intel reports on-demand to Sales team members
• Work with Sales team, one on one to research, identify, qualify and provide viable leads to individuals based on their personal focus.
• Maintain record of distribution of leads in CoreLOG as required by the CRM Superuser with follow up of leads and closure or transfer to rep accordingly.
• Research the Internet for new leads and develop prospect lists utilizing Zepol and PIers
• Run Hoovers Request as requested for Sales Staff
• Maintain and update business contact information in CRM
• Support the development of new and innovative marketing collateral
• Attend meetings with team members to learn and understand the business & projects
• Conduct market research
• Assist with Meeting Minutes and Visitor travel itineraries as needed
• Research and update Target List
• Advise CRM Superuser of discrepancies discovered (i.e. Duplicates, Assignments allocation)
• Assist with Web Leads - Qualify, update CRM, and escalate as needed
• Assist Sales Team with final proposals (Print, Bind, create Dividers) as needed. Assist with Supplier Questionnaire's as needed
• Implementation of sales and marketing strategies for assigned account portfolio.
• Expand market / territory knowledge through direct telephone solicitation, cold calls, lead development and other local marketing activities.
• Perform various aspects of the sales process and input, update, and maintain all relevant activities utilizing sales system daily.
• Process all Area Quote requests for SW via the quote ticketing system, send quotes to Customers and monitor / maintain all quotes via the quote log.
• Assist Sales Department and team with additional responsibilities, as needed to ensure department needs are met
• Serve as backup and support to Area Sales Administrator

Your skills and experience

Skills / Education / Experience:

• Match lead attributes to Sales person focus / interest /specialization
• Find leads that fit the scope and current goals set by Managers from time to time for different purposes
• Assist with Cold calls when the Sales person requests
• Customer service
• Dealing with Numbers, Statistics, Analysis
• Working with a Multidisciplinary, Multicultural team located in multiple locations worldwide
• Working with internal and external clients within the mandated scope
• Fluency in English Communications with correspondents who may or may not be Native English speakers
• Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience.
• Requires a minimum of 3 years field sales or 5 years of operational experience.
• Experience with logistics processes, systems and solutions.
• Solid PC operational knowledge along with Microsoft Office applications experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Goal oriented, self-disciplined, and self-motivated and team player
