LCL Gateway Coordinator (West Singapore)

Working location: 10 Pioneer Crescent Singapore 628566 (Company transport provided from various locations in Singapore)
Job description
· To ensure smooth trans-shipment of less-than-container (LCL) cargo at Singapore CFS (Container Freight Station) and destination.
· Act as main point of contact at the CFS between KN offices, carriers, Non Vessel Owning Common Carriers (NVOCC) and Subcontractor.
Your tasks and responsibilities
· Receive requests for movement of cargo from customer via in-house system
· Handle route planning for cargo movement requests based on final destination
· Manage and consolidate the cargo in and out of the Gateway trans-shipment hub after receiving Bill of Lading (B/L) from KN origin and destination offices (LCL shipments only)
· Handle booking for LCL shipments with carriers, and co-load shipments with co-loaders (if required) and Dangerous Goods shipment upon request
· Issue invoices to KN offices (origin / destination) for both export and import shipments
· Support FSL monthly closing through timely invoicing and billing
· Coordinate with KN office on requests pertaining to pilferage, damaged and mis-routed cargo
· Ensure that document processing requirements meet agreed customer service standards, while maintaining departmental KPIs
Your skills and experience
· Minimum Diploma in Logistics
· Possess 1 year's working experience in Shipping preferably
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
