(Junior) Software Engineer (m/f/d) with focus on Process Design (BPM) | Hamburg | req48210
Would you like to join our SALOG team to contribute to process automation of our global Airfreight & Seafreight operations?
YOUR ROLE
You would join a team, working on SALOG, our global Airfreight & Seafreight IT System, which simplifies our operational activities by increasing process automation and real-time interaction between Kuehne + Nagel and our customers. As a (Junior) software engineer, you design and implement processes in Java and BPMN, follow the principles of agile software development and create innovative solutions. You are in close contact with our air and sea freight colleagues and contribute continuously to system optimization.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
· Your specific task will be to shape the underlying business processes from analysis through conception to implementation in cooperation with other departments.
· You would use Camunda BPMN to implement our business processes and applications.
· You are guided by the agile manifesto to develop our global business processes.
· You actively participate in design discussions and engage in the continuous optimization and stabilization of our existing processes.
· You have an impact on the product, the tools and methods we are currently using. In doing so, you always stick to the principles and practices of clean code development.
· You evaluate new technologies and provide advice and suggestions to your colleagues.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
· You bring a degree in (business) computer science or a similar qualification.
· You have gained initial experience in Java software development.
· Knowledge in process modeling with BPMN is a big plus.
· You have experience with development environments and tools like IntelliJ and/or Eclipse.
· Practical experience in agile software development.
