IT System Administrator

Job description

We are looking for an IT System Administrator to join our BeLux team who will work out of Geel.

Your Role

Are you knowledgeable in software, hardware and networks? Are you a problem-solver with excellent communication skills? Do you have experiences in IT System administration and networks and you are interested in working in our BeLux team? Your Responsibilities

Working in collaboration with local IT teams in Belgium and Luxembourg as well as our corporate IT team:

·  Maintain existing IT infrastructure (Server, SAN, Network, Environment etc.)
·  Setup new networks and servers
·  Support on IT infrastructure related issues
·  Follow-up of documentation and procedures
·  Participation in IT projects
·  Monitoring of the IT environment
·  Administrate the IT infrastructure

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Education: Bachelor in IT or similar experience
·  5+ years of relevant work experience
·  Knowledge and experience in Windows Server OS, VMware vSphere and vCenter
·  Fundamental knowledge and experience in networking (LAN, VLAN, routed networks)
·  Base knowledge about WAN
·  Experience in IT infrastructure security
·  Ability to work independently with a high degree of reliability
·  You are autonomous and know how to adapt, but you also have a great sense of customer service and troubleshooting
·  You have a good reasoning and a very good ability to analyse
