Job Title: Inventory Operative

What we’re looking for:
We are currently seeking to recruit an Inventory Operative to work within the EE Contract based at our Midway depot, Milton Keynes. The role will report directly to the Inventory Manager.
What you’ll do:
· Conduct Perpetual Inventory counts according to planned schedules and work instructions
· Carry out targeted and full SKU investigations as issued by Inventory Function Operatives
· Report all unresolved discrepancies including details of investigative processes followed to Inventory Function
· Operatives to enable PI reconciliation and corrective action to be applied
· Carry out customer requests via E-mail communications
· Ensure daily tasks are carried out effectively and within given timescales
· Carry out necessary system operations, adhering to work instructions and operating to company procedures and guidelines
· Provide support and assistance to other departments with problem solving
· Support operational activity including picking and packing during business peaks
What you’ll bring:
· Ability to work on own initiative yet form an integral part of a progressive and multi-skilled inventory team
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a willingness to support both internal and external customers
· Previous Inventory or stock control experience including PI counting and investigative processes
· Excellent attention to detail with an ability to effectively interpret large amounts of data
· PC Literate with experience of Microsoft packages including MS Word, Excel & Outlook
· Previous knowledge of JDA WMS is preferred but not essential as full training will be given to the successful applicant
