Your tasks and responsibilities

• Provide sales support to assigned Account executives, providing quotes and follow-up to the quotes to win new and maintain current business.

• Maintain and record all quote requests and correspondence in the RT quote tool.

• Assist in customer implementation to the Account executive obtaining credit, filing of SOPs, ABTs and rates.

• Provide KN Login support in running reports, alert set-ups and other tasks as needed.

• Act as the single point of contact for KN solutions and service sales across all Sea & Air logistics business fields within the assigned customer base.

• Maintain assigned customers through regular activity, correctly assessing the prospective account as Profitable, Significant or Strategic in order to secure additional business.

• Support Sales Lead Generation using the available resources

• Create customer profiles for all sales executives to help drive additional business

• Perform all aspects of the sales/ maintenance process and input & update all relevant activities utilizing CoreLog daily (required).

• Adhere to all policies listed in the KN US Sales Guidelines.

• Additional duties as assigned.

Your skills and experience

- Minimum of three years experience within the freight, transportation or logistics industry.
- Experience in International Operations, i.e. Air- and/or Oceanfreight or International Sales is preferred
- The ideal candidate will provide a solid PC operational knowledge related to MS Office products and Sales Force Automation tools.
- The ideal candidate should be self-disciplined and self-motivated with a strong customer focus and feeling for qualitative work.
- The candidate should possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate creativity and analytical skills.
- General experience in the area of Telemarketing is preferred.
- BS in Business, Marketing, Logistics preferred.
