Job description

The purpose of the role is, by using all of the tools available, to develop multi-level relationships and gain business from existing and new customers in order to reach and exceed the required targets.

Your tasks and responsibilities

·  Development of Airfreight business to & from Dubai
·  Further Development and retention of existing customer base (20% focus) and primarily gaining new customer business (80% focus), working with Product support to secure new business opportunities
·  Work closely with existing clients and Products to ensure the current support is maintained
·  Ensure that every new and existing customer has had KN FreightNet presented to them and that every effort is made to convert, train and support customers to use KN FreightNet to its maximum
·  Establish & maintain a strong Sales Pipeline by identifying new target accounts in line with company strategy & focus and as agreed by Sales and Airfreight management
·  Complete sales projects as required by internal stakeholder
·  Meet and exceed targets as predefined in Incentive Scheme
·  Provide continuous feedback on market rates and conditions to Product
·  Maintain regular internal systems inputs for all client activities and opportunities
·  Prepare “hi-end” commercial proposals, hand over quotations, follow up and drive development both internally and externally
·  Ensure that all Products are known to the customers including air, sea, KN FreightNet, cargo insurance, contract logistics, road transport
·  Ensure adherence to all company, legal, human resources, environmental, ISO, Security and health and safety procedures and standards
·  Actively participate in strategic focuses & product campaigns

Your skills and experience

·  At least 3 years of local market experience in Air Freight Sales
·  Our ideal candidate has a strong customer focus
·  We need a person with a proven sales record
·  Good verbal and written communication in English language is mandatory
·  He/She is independent, self-motivated and highly disciplined
