Your tasks and responsibilities

The Cycle counter applies and utilizes inventory management principles in order to
maintain accurate records regarding physical inventory levels. In addition, the
incumbent utilizes cycle counts and raw audits in order to identify and correct
inventory system errors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Performs weekly cycle counts and makes necessary system adjustments

•Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory

•Performs daily activities, which are necessary in order to maintain effective inventory
records

•Publish weekly and quarterly inventory metrics

•Communicates with the customers and Kuehne + Nagel personnel regarding inventory issues

•Assist the management staff in planning and organizing inventory levels in new stockrooms

•Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed (performs root cause analysis on
inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them)

•Completes special projects and assists other employees as needed (special packout
projects, SMI inventory analysis, assists on packaging component inventory tracking)

Your skills and experience

Qualifications/Experience:

•One to two years of warehouse experience

•Ability to communicate - written and verbal

•Ability to establish priorities and to function in a multi-tasked environment

•Possess professional business demeanor

•Knowledge of the following Microsoft software applications - Outlook, Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint

•Ability to use warehouse and inventory programs

Working Environment: Office environment
