Credit Analyst, North American Clients

Job description

As the Commercial Credit Analysts you will evaluate the credit worthiness of existing or new Kuehne & Nagel clients and determine their ability to repay loans and lines of credit used to purchase our logistics services. Your responsibilities will include developing financial profiles and investigating credit histories.

Your Role

The importance of cash collection is critical to every business. Without cash, a company cannot pay workers, invest in its growth, or fulfill customer orders. At Kuehne & Nagel, we do understand well the role of receivables as the fundamental driver for any successful and sustainable business operations. That's why we decided to centralize and optimize our Collections Management function for North America in a new office in Vancouver, British Columbia.

From our beautiful office in downtown Vancouver/BC ( Our new office ), a team of over 50 credit and collections specialists take care daily of the risk assessment & credit limits, cash collection & allocation, reduction of Day Sales Outstanding (DSO), reduction of bad debts and credit insurance for the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Currently, we have two openings for the Credit Analyst and looking for new colleagues to join that regional Finance service center.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be evaluating clients' credit data and financial statements in order to determine the degree of risk involved in the amount of business KN is doing with those clients. Your role will also cover preparing of reports, communication with Sales and Management, as well as assist with different day to day credit risk decisions for customers.

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent (financial preferred)
·  Minimum of 2 years working experience in Finance and Credit functions
·  Credit Professional Designation a strong asset
