Airfreight Customer Service Coordinator

Job Description

We are currently looking for an Airfreight Customer Service Coordinator to join our Calgary, AB office.

Responsibilities
• Respond knowledgeably and courteously to incoming calls and customer enquiries;
• Manage communication with clients, client's customer for customer service and administration requirements;
• Manage high call and business process volumes;
• Act as front line communicator to our customer's customer;
• Document, investigate and resolve all customer concerns in a timely fashion;
• Drive prompt and professional communication at all times for both internal and external customers;
• Manage track and trace updates, via electronic monitoring and manual updates;
• Coordinate details for client KPI and internal performance reviews;
• Follow call and business processes outlined in work instructions, working in tandem with customer requirements;
• Other duties as assigned from time to time by the company.

Qualifications
• Degree/Diploma in International Business, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field preferred;
• 3+ years' freight forwarding experience in Canada;
• Excellent customer service experience required, additional administrative / data entry experience;
• Excellent communication in English (verbal and written);
• Strong organizational and time management skills required, including the proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines;
• Proven ability to work well both independently and as part of a team required;
• Proficient computer skills required (Microsoft Word and Excel).
