Responsibilities of the job:
Kerneos is looking for a process engineer to prepare and follow a trial by using specific additives in its alumina process. You will report to the Process Engineer Manager.
With the help of your manager and a consulting company, your tasks will include to:
- Validate the change of process
- Prepare and follow the trial of new additives
- Extrapolate the results and define the required Capex
Besides, in order to comply at the new Chinese regulations for environment, a new gas treatment system has to be installed in 2018.
You will have to gather process information, perform the design of the new installation, and attend start-up after construction.
Your tasks will include to:
- Review the different potential technologies – Evaluation of the treatments installed
- Define the conditions of a kiln audit, participation and calculation to find the key learnings
- Select the most appropriate technology and feasibility study to be performed
- Request for quote to be established and participate at the selection of the supplier
- Participate at commissioning, start-up phases and in charge of the performance test
Profile:
Graduated in Process Engineering, you have a good technical knowledge.
2 years of professional experience ideally in the cement process is mandatory (internship and/or apprenticeship not including)
You must be fluent in English and good skills in Chinese are appreciated (Mandarin).
Rigorous and curious, you take initiatives and you have good relational qualities.
Adaptable, you have strong intercultural competences.
You have a very good knowledge of Aspen Plus software.
At the end of the VIE, a career development could be considered.
