Role Mission

The Visual Merchandising District Manager – Northeast is the point person and team leader for the Northeast market. While reporting to the Visual Director, the Visual Merchandising District Manager collaborates with the Retail District Manager of the Northeast to ensure the synergy of visual directives, business needs and consistency across the district. He/She will empower and drive the team to the commitment of excellence in visual display and in collaboration with the retail network.

Key Accountabilities

·
Follow all visual directives via photographs and company visual campaign book when executing store set-ups and adapt and/or substitute in a brand appropriate manner to make visual merchandising suitable to regional needs;

·
Provide Powerpoint recaps from all store visits to be shared with worldwide company headquarters in Italy;

·
Implement and maintain visual displays/merchandising to maximize store business;

·
Ongoing training of store associates in visual merchandising standards in line with Retail Excellence objectives;

·
Co-ordinates windows, merchandising and special events throughout region;

·
Remain aware of the competition in retail and visual industry standards in the marketplace;

·
Partners with district and store managers to effectively support current business trends with visual needs as they arise;

·
Travel required throughout district to support visual needs;

·
Responsible to respect travel budget as provided by corporate team.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Key Requirements

·  Minimum 5 years professional experience in Visual Merchandising and at least 2 years managing a team;
· 
Must be very flexible with hours of work and be comfortable with ever changing priorities in a fast paced environment;

· 
Available to work adhoc overnights and weekends to meet urgent deadlines;

· 
Experience shaping point of view with information and opinions from various sources;

· 
Comfortable working with ambiguity and across different cultures and management styles;

·  Strong attention to detail and passion to work quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines;
·  Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines;
· 
Candidate should be open to regular travel as needed within the Northeast to support the visual team as needed;

· 
Adhoc travel at short notice may be required several times throughout the year;

· 
Proficiency with Powerpoint and basic photography skills;

· 
Multi store experience preferred but not required.
