We are currently seeking an Accountant who will be part of the Finance and Administration Team based in Milan

Job Description

Your opportunity
Under the supervision of the Head of Administration and Finance Italy, you will take care of all the activities related to the monthly financial closure both for the reporting to the HQs and for the statutory and fiscal requirements.

How you will contribute

· 
Ensure order cycle management, invoices and payments’ recording, imputation, cost evaluation and approvals

· 
Issue invoices and prepare the Inter-company reconciliations

· 
Manage petty-cash bookkeeping, correct keeping of accounting books and mandatory records

· 
Perform control and filing of tax documents, issue financial reporting and reconciliations of bank accounts

· 
Manage ordinary tax activities: preparation and dispatching of the “spesometro”, settlement and VAT declarations, R.A. certifications, mandatory registers and Intrastat management

· 
Monitor credits and recovery of any overdue

· 
Manage the closing of the financial statements (including settlement and correction entries) by also producing the monthly financial statements

· 
Prepare the statutory financial statements and support any internal and/or external Audit checks

· 
Prepare of ad-hoc reports or analysis at the request of management

· 
Relate with controlling department to support the monthly reporting and budget forecast activities

Who you are

· 
Graduate in Economics or Finance

· 
A professional with at least 2 years of experience in similar role in a multinational environment or in a consultancy firm

· 
You are a problem solver with a strong analytical mindset and are results oriented with a high attention to details

· 
You have a proven experience working cross-functionally

· 
You are a strong team player with excellent communication skills

· 
Fluent in English and Italian (both written and spoken); French is a plus

· 
You have knowledge of JDE or SAP and have excellent knowledge of Excel
