Mentor Worldwide, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies is recruiting for a Warehouse Material Handler- 2nd Shift, to be located in Irving, TX.

The Warehouse Material Handler performs a variety of duties to receive, distribute, assemble and store finished goods into sales warehouse or customer locations as directed. Will also perform materials receipt, disbursement and related activities as directed.

Responsibilities include:
• Picks finished goods throughout the warehouse as required by sales order ship lists.
• Processes goods and supplies including unpacking, verifying, labeling, and distributing to appropriate location.
• Fills requisitions for goods and materials.
• Maintains and verifies accounting records for supplies received and dispensed.
• Coordinates appropriate shipping companies/departments when shipping items and educates user departments regarding shipping requirements.
• Assists in preparing shipping goods and relevant equipment.
• Uses/operates miscellaneous material handling equipment (dollies, pallet jack, forklift) to move materials.
• Performs physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Maintains the record of wait delivery requests and notifies the appropriate department supervisor of material and/or goods that are not on schedule.
• Maintain the logbooks up to date for optimum material flow.
• Makes inquiries of inventory to ensure adequate supplies are on hand.
• Reports shortages to supervisor.
• Performs other related material handling activities including maintaining proper documentation of all incoming and outgoing materials and keeping physical inventories.
• Exercises care in handling materials.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

• High School/Secondary Education or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous manufacturing and materials management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic functions for operation of computer system including email, MS Word, and MS Excel required.
• PC skills and experience with JD Edwards, Shopfloor management systems, Quality Systems, Non-Conformances preferred
• Ability to read and follow departmental procedures in completing work assignments required.
• Physical requirements include periods of walking, sitting, standing, reaching, and general office tasks (phone, computer). Requirements also may include bending, stooping, lifting up to 30 lbs, and forklift operation.
