Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· The Sr. Associate Manager, Customer Development is the key daily interface responsible for the customer relationship with the Amazon Baby business
· Has direct selling responsibility and is accountable for achieving shipment goals and consumption sales objectives by managing the J&J baby portfolio
· Develops and executes customer-specific business plans that support and are aligned to customer and marketing strategies
· Monitors key metrics to track progress and adjusts the plan as needed to deliver results
· Manages a trade promotional budget and retail media investments for optimal ROI
· Ensures internal/external alignment, while growing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholder
· Develops and executes Amazon 1P business plans to deliver sales results, including maximized volume potential, increased merchandising effectiveness, growth of the baby business and brand share
· Specifically, develop and maintain the on-line channel portfolio of J&J items while balancing customer item profitability metrics
· Raise the 'on-line IQ' across J&J Consumer via business insights and analytics. Specifically, collect and report J&J on-line data across all brands powering the path to purchase utilizing POS and other metrics available via the customer portal (Vendor Central – Amazon's portal)
· Responsible for accurate forecasting of monthly sales for J&J baby brands
· Lead annual business planning process within the baby business
· Leverage business analytics to influence customer and company decision making at all levels
· Utilizes internal/customer business systems to manage and maximize plans (i.e. LYNX, ISIS & Vendor Central – Amazon's Portal). Regularly reconciles deductions/payments and updates promotional plans to remain within budget
· Creates impactful, insights-based presentations in order to translate sales objectives into customer strategy and business plans around distribution, merchandising, promotion, and online site placement
Desired profile
Qualifications
· A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is required
· A minimum of 5 years of total business experience is required
· At least 3 years in the consumer packaged goods industry, ecommerce, or Amazon specific experience is preferred
· Previous eCommerce experience strongly preferred
· Previous Customer facing experience preferred
· Previous Sales Strategy experience preferred
· Ability to prioritize and to successfully manage multiple projects/initiatives is required
· Ability to work in a complex & matrix environment is required
· Ability to interpret and communicate complex business data is required
· Ability to manage conflict and negotiate successfully is required
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships is required
· Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite applications, sales database, and web applications is required
· This role will be located in Skillman, NJ with up to 30% travel
