BabyCenter has an immediate opening for a product manager to drive monetization opportunities. This is a full-time position on-site at BabyCenter headquarters in San Francisco.

The product manager provides leadership across the organization to drive revenue and unlock the value of BabyCenter for partners and clients. The product manager owns the product road map for BabyCenter’s Monetization team, driving all stages of the product development lifecycle, including identifying and translating the needs of clients into detailed product requirements; working with cross-functional teams (such as engineering, sales, media operations, marketing, research and analytics) to build and promote new features; and tracking product performance to measure success.

Responsibilities
•Provide leadership to identify new ad products, enhance current ad products and communicate across the organization the importance behind revenue-generating projects.
•Drive both the advertiser experience and the user ad experience.
•Drive product initiatives for BabyCenter using agile development methods, ensuring timely delivery within budget, and fostering effective cross-functional communication and collaboration.
•Create and prioritize a product backlog, developing detailed product stories, and launch high-quality features and products on time and on budget.
•Determine metrics of success for each product and follow up with an analysis of metrics and next steps.
•Run experiments to test or optimize revenue ideas, ensuring the team meets overall goals.
•Stay abreast of industry, competitive, and consumer trends in digital advertising to help inform new features and functionality.

Desired profile

Qualifications

•A Bachelor’s degree is required.
•A minimum of 3 years of product management experience involving execution of product road maps, writing detailed specifications, effective cross-functional team collaboration, and communicating status reports is required.
•Proven experience with ad technologies – e.g. DSPs, DMPs, social, programmatic, video, ad servers, outstream, native, content recommendation engines, etc. - and a solid knowledge of the larger digital advertising ecosystem is highly preferred.
•Experience working with vendors and across cross-functional teams is required.
•Strong planning skills (highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented) are required.
•Excellent communication skills are required.
•Ability to manage and prioritize requests from multiple teams for a variety of needs is required.
•Experience with agile development techniques is preferred.
