Within the R&D center, we are seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow to join our team dedicated to packaging development for products.

The role will be to deal with a research project related to the broad impact of packaging attributes used in cosmetics or OTC products on personal emotions and perceptions using neuroscience, bio-measurement and neuro-marketing tools.

· By packaging attributes, it is meant all dimensions of packaging that create the experience and interaction with consumer: visual, touch, faculty of earing, ergonomic & functionality aspects…
· Their impact will be evaluated on the conscious/unconscious emotions it triggers, perceived product efficacy, fit with a brand equity, purchase intent…

The information generated will be leveraged into following approaches:

· Consumer packaging model linking packaging attributes with impact to consumer
· Co-creation with consumer to deliver superior and compelling packaging & product experience

The mission will be to:

· Perform scientific literature review ;
· Collaborate with external partners such universities and suppliers ;
· Propose and validate to the team experimental plans to conduct proof of concepts ;
· Perform the scientific studies in collaboration with internal and external partners and analyze results.

This position will involve regular interaction with other JnJ departments working on innovation in different regions of the world as well as collaboration with international specialists and professors.

Profil recherché

·  PhD in cognitive neurosciences/cognitive psychology
·  Strong communication skills –written, spoken and presentation ability
·  Influencing and business partnering skills
·  Interest in role of packaging in the marketing&product mix
·  Fluent in English
