You will be responsible for managing various types of projects in the GS Portfolio of work. This includes projects that move new work into J&J GS or move existing J&J GS work to North America as well as other projects as approved by the GS Portfolio Governance. This role is responsible for executing projects following the standard playbook methodologies.

The GS North America PMO Lead is responsible for management of the entire project lifecycle, from assessment (including value case) to go-live of services in North America. This role will need to have a strong background in project management and must be skilled at working with cross-functional stakeholders. The position will report into the GS Global PMO Lead.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Manage a portfolio of projects in North America. Manage the lifecycle of projects from requirements to project completion.
·  Serve as a project management subject matter expert; proactively monitoring and leveraging industry leading practices and building internal and external relationships.
·  Provide support to manage multiple projects and programs across the Global Services organization in North America.
·  Maintain transparent communication channel with the J&J GS leaders by summarizing and reporting on project updates and issues.
·  Support of the Global Service Portfolio Governance process, partnering with J&J GS leaders to establish a portfolio of projects to be executed in region.
·  Partner with J&J GS service delivery teams in North America to plan and execute transition activities internal to J&J GS (e.g. moving work from high cost to low cost regions).
·  Partner with J&J GS customers to plan and manage transition activities external to J&J GS for North America (e.g. moving new services into J&J GS).
·  For either internal or external transitions, coordinate and facilitate activities such as conducting assessments, building value cases, preparing process documentation, managing knowledge transfer, supporting cut-over activities, developing project-related communications and providing other project management support.
·  Maintain transparent communication channel with the J&J GS leaders by summarizing and reporting on transition updates and issues.
·  Provide leadership, direction, coaching, feedback, and, where appropriate, discipline to and through subordinate team members.
·  Oversee selection, interview and hiring process for project management team members.
·  Manage and motivate project management team members to achieve and exceed expectations by identifying staff performance gaps, allocating time to listen, monitor and provide constructive feedback for performance improvement.
·  Develop project management staff capability, knowledge, skills and understanding of the region / country or J&J GS functions by organizing knowledge sharing activities for members of the team / region / country supported.
·  Possess a knowledge of project/program management methodologies (e.g. Agile, PMP, Lean Six Sigma)
·  Embrace and lead a culture of inclusiveness and multi-cultural engagement through coaching and feedback to peers and the broader community in Global Services in alignment with the J&J's Leadership imperatives.
·  Develop a strong pipeline of global, diverse leaders within Global Services Strategy & Ops and across Global Services. Enable a Credo-based & High-Performance Culture within team.
·  A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required
·  Minimum of 8+ years of Program Management experience is required
·  Minimum of 3+ years of experience working within a shared services organization (HR, Finance, IT or Procurement) is preferred
·  Prior People Management experience is required
·  Prior experience working within a PMO is required
·  Work Transition or Work Migration experience from a Project Management standpoint is preferred
·  Project Management certifications (PMP, Six Sigma, Lean, etc) is required
·  This position is located in Tampa, FL
