The Business Analyst captures business requirements related to processes and works with internal and external software partners to implement those requirements in existing/new business applications.

·  Responsible for soliciting business requirements from key users in the Logistics area
·  Design and implement new business processes as part of a project team
·  Enhance and develop existing business processes
·  Project management from conception till successful implementation (including documentation) in the role of project manager and / or project team member
·  Close cooperation with the business departments and, if needed, with external consultants
·  Adherence of the processes for Change and Project Management
·  Customer and service orientation
·  Education / information to key users on latest IT processes and systems
·  Change Management
·  Incident Management

Desired profile

Qualifications

·  B.A./B.S. degree in Business or Computer Science
·  Professional certifications are a plus
·  At least 1 work experience/internship of a duration of minimum 3 months
·  Able to work under pressure, addressing several items even with challenging deadlines
·  Able to address / solve complex issues
·  Passion for Logistics
·  Very good organizational skills
·  Ability to work independently with right escalation for decision making
·  Analytical thinking
·  Customer and service orientation
·  Team player
·  Responsibility / reliability
·  Proactive approach
·  Fluent in English, proficient in French, Dutch is a plus
