IT Analyst ABAP - LDC
Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for an IT ABAP Analyst to be part of a fast-paced, innovative, and highly visible teams implementing projects/enhancements within ABAP area for the J&J organization in Latin America. He/she will perform complex ABAP programming, design, development, improves, test and analysis work related to the implementation, enhancement and support of SAP. Provide technical guidance to functional / architecture team, testing teams, compliance and other development team members. Provide technical documentation, design proposals, estimates, specifications and maintenance guides.

This position is within the Technology Services (LATAM Development Center) organization, which is focused on Technical Solutions Delivery, Analysis and Development for SAP, UX & IoT for Johnson & Johnson's Operating Companies worldwide. This individual will act as an ABAP Analyst.

Responsibilities
Validates technically the solution implemented before deploying to Quality Assurance and Production environments.
SAP ABAP programming tools including Report and Transaction creation, Enhancements, Conversion Programs, SAPScript, SmartForms and AdobeForms, Screen Painter BDC, LSMW, SAP Exits, Enhancements, ALV Reports, Dialog Programming, Data Dictionary, RFC, ABAP Query, BAPI and BADI, OSS notes.
Be proficient with Object Oriented concepts.
Previous experience with Global Projects, remotely work and software standardization is a plus.
Foster high degree of quality in deliverables, being willing to look fast for a quick fix and root cause.
Maintains continuous awareness of new technologies and industry trends to drive innovative solutions.
As accountable to review, to guarantee and to propose the use of tools in order to improve continuously the quality of the deliverables ensuring adherence and aligned with J&J standards.
Evaluate concurrent demands conflicts and drive best-in-class solutions for Business.
Execute end-to-end analysis to guarantee technical impact analysis to attend business requirements.
Ensure high quality and cost efficient SAP application support, enhancements and projects. Take a leading role (within area of expertise) in projects.
Escalate timely functional, technical and resource issues. Create and Review technical specifications.
Manage the implementation of changes. Ensure that these changes do not disrupt existing functionality on these productive clients.

Qualifications
Requirements
B.A. / B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related field; an advanced degree is desirable.
+3 years of ABAP Development experience in a corporate environment supporting SAP projects is required.

Additional competencies:
Previous experience with Hana, Fiori, SAPUI5 or GRC is desired.
Ability to interact with other solution areas, IT departments, vendors and business partners to analyze requests and accurately size efforts.
Evaluates project team technical skills to guarantee high quality standards.
Performs a major role playing in different teams (multifunctional), looking to develop others and create a team working environment to support and address daily challenges.
Takes decisions during critical events looking to minimize business impacts when IT services are not working as expected.
Is supportive during adverse events to help troubleshooting more complex problems and suggests effective resolutions for critical issues, eventually happening during non-business hours.
Design, develop and code difficult and complex programs for SAP modules
Recognize critical elements of complex application problems, develop and evaluate data and make logical recommendations
Express difficult and complex concepts clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
Work effectively and independently on assigned projects
Establish/Maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with key users, technical team and functional team.
Learn the characteristics of new systems and update skills to adapt to changing technology
SAP Solution Manager - Service Desk and CHARM modules.
Strong communication skills and a fluent in English.
Flexibility in working hours is required (occasional over-time or weekend work).
Project related travel may be required (less than 25%)
Agile project delivery experience is desired. Scrum Master Certified would be a plus.
