There are no guarantees, however, examples of how our Partners already work flexibly include part-time, job share, home working and compressed hours.

Please note, we also have a permanent Finance Analyst vacancy in the team which is currently being advertised. Only one application is required if you wish to be considered for both Finance Analyst roles in CoPRA.

Please be aware as this position is a secondment/fixed term contract, if the successful applicant is an existing Partner, benefits will remain unchanged.

Duties & Responsibilities

Here at the John Lewis Partnership, we've transformed our Finance Directorate to create a function that is truly world-class. This journey started 18 months ago by bringing together our previous divisional teams to create a single, unified Finance function to support both our brands - John Lewis & Partners and Waitrose & Partners. This step in our evolution was designed to ensure we're creating great roles and careers for our Partners, whilst at the same time providing the business with the insight, challenge and control in order to deliver the Partnership's Strategy. Our new design allows us to be more agile and flexible, so we can continue to respond as our industry, and our world, changes.

We are now recruiting for Finance Analysts to join our Centre of Planning, Reporting and Analysis (CoPRA) team. The CoPRA team are fully focused on the production of financial analysis, reporting and planning for the entire Partnership that leverages the expertise, knowledge and skills of Partners in the team.

The team are a central financial hub for the Partnership, and consist of a pool of Partners who work flexibly to gain broad commercial experience as well as financial expertise in specific activities (e.g. planning) and functions (e.g. Supply Chain). Due to the dual-site nature of the role, it is essential that our Partners can work independently, as well as working as part of the wider team. The CoPRA structure enables Partners to gain exposure across different areas both within the team and across Finance, by completing rotations in the different areas and supporting strong career progression opportunities within the Partnership.
