Title: Part Time Student - Accounting / Finance - Fargo, ND - 61315 

Your Responsibilities

·  The student employment opportunity provides post-secondary students with hands-on general accounting and auditing experience.
·  Students are involved with daily accounting activities that occur at a manufacturing facility including accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end closing processes, month end reconciliations, etc.
·  Special project assignments are assigned when they arise.
·  Special projects may include special account analysis and internal audit testing to meet corporate and SOX compliance requirements.
·  Accounts receivable processing
·  Accounts payable processing
·  SOX testing of internal controls
·  Internal audit testing to ensure compliance with Corporate procedures
·  Assist with Travel and Expense report auditing

What It Takes

·  Possesses strong organizational skills.
·  Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·  Must be registered as a full-time student at a local university
·  Must have completed 2 years of university courses that included accounting principles courses.
·  Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
·  Graduation date May 2021 - requirement of the program is you are available to work a minimum of 12 months prior to graduation.
·  Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
·  16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year
·  35 - 40 hours/week during the academic year

A Strong Candidate Will Also Have

·  Some experience with spreadsheets desired.
·  Desire strong problem solving and analytical skills.
