JLL is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Brokerage Assistant to provide reliable, timely, efficient support to a brokerage team at our Calgary location.  The position entails working with a diverse group of internal and external Stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and the individual will require the independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment. This role provides a wide variety of support services to the brokerage team and the successful candidate will be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and a team player attitude.

Marketing Responsibilities:

·  Align with the National Marketing Team for ongoing JLL brand and best practices training and for best in class marketing tools and resources to ensure that all marketing needs are met
·  Research and recommend creative ways to promote the business and reach target audiences
·  Project manage multi-component marketing projects
·  Utilize creativity within the JLL branding guidelines to create unique and memorable marketing materials
·  Assist in the preparation of pitches and presentations for business development
·  Design and manage marketing collateral, brochures, mapping, postcards and other communications
·  Leverage and create templates to create/draft/modify complex presentation slides in PowerPoint or other media formats
·  Create printing and binding hard copy packages for tours and presentations
·  Organize information and maintain a database for marketing purposes using our national Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (ReApps)
·  Manage the distribution of e-blasts, direct mail and couriers
·  Coordinate direct marketing and other advertising sources, such as: print and online
·  Engage with marketing and other vendors as required
·  Coordinate and manage social media and website information, as needed
·  Conduct research on a variety of individuals, companies, markets and industries to support the business development initiatives of the Brokerage Team
·  Track and evaluate marketing efforts

Administrative Responsibilities:

·  Work closely with a team of brokers to ensure that all marketing and needs are met
·  Ordering and tracking signage
·  Coordinating and executing broker open houses and special events
·  Provide support to an assigned team in the development of proposals, presentations, RFQ requirements, and any other additional sales aids as needed
·  Draft/modify/proofread engagement letters and assist in managing the proposal process ensuring client information is accurate

Qualifications

·  Strong understanding and proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
·  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and / or Graphic Communication or related field, or equivalent work experience.
·  Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar environment.
·  Strong understanding and proficiency of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
·  Ability to communicate clearly (verbal and written) and effectively for business pursuits.
·  Possess a blend of creative vision, technical skills, hands-on experience, and strategic knowledge.
·  Up-to-date knowledge of current design methods and industry trends.
·  Strong organization skills to track data/information, update templates, standards, and materials.
·  Work effectively within a team environment, yet able to take initiative and work independently.
·  Enjoys learning and is adaptable to various asks.
