The Maintenance Mechanic will provide mechanical and electrical support to the building systems for the assigned buildings. This role has wide ranging responsibilities including low/medium voltage power, HVAC systems and controls, mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, general maintenance, carpentry, plumbing systems and vendor management. Primary responsibilities will include support for HVAC systems and related controls, building site general maintenance tasks as needed.

Essential Functions

·  Maintain lighting systems including bulbs and ballasts.
·  General Interior/Exterior Maintenance – Wall repairs and painting, repair of furniture, locksmith work, client service requests, floor and ceiling work, minor plumbing.
·  Perform Corrective and Preventative maintenance to interior doors and all other automatic door systems.
·  Perform general and Preventative Maintenance work on HVAC systems
·  Perform corrective maintenance to HVAC systems and related systems
·  Perform checks to motors, belts hand handle lubrication and filter replacements.
·  Repair HVAC systems which include rooftop units, air handlers, steam boilers and related pumps and control systems.
·  Respond to emergency repair issues related to HVAC and building support systems.
·  Utilize CMMS systems, such as Corrigo for all work performed.

Education and experience

·  1-2 Years’ experience is required
·  Prior hands on experience working with building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing and basic electrical.
·  Prior hands on experience in working with air handlers, boilers, roof top units and exhaust fans.
·  Experience in a manufacturing environment, GMP/FDA is a plus.
·  Position requires excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
·  Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
