About the role:

Support Senior Project Manager in terms of their overall responsibility to successful delivery of D&B projects, through effective management of subcontractors and site activities.

We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Hongkong Design&Build team.

What this job involves

·  Support Senior Project Manager in terms of his/her overall responsibility to successful delivery of D&B projects
·  Ensure effective management of all aspects of the construction site, including but not limited to sub-contractor co-ordination, quality, adherence to timeline, and health and Safety
·  Take a lead role in establishing and maintaining Health Safety and Environmental systems on site and ensuring subcontractor compliance
·  Liaise, co-ordinate and communicate construction activities with the client/client's representative and BMO to ensure full awareness of key activities/timeline and smooth delivery.
·  Arrange and conduct regular site meetings, as required, between the necessary parties. Record and distribute minutes and actions
·  Prepare, communicate and manage detailed timelines of construction activities
·  Ensure timely provision of method statements and risk assessments by subcontractors. Review accordingly and provide comment as required
·  Represent the client’s best interests from inception through to completion of the project
·  Use technical knowledge and experience to advise the project team (client, project manager, designer, consultant) of potential issues with respect to design, construct-ability, co-ordination efficiency, and offer suggestions to improve or overcome
·  Represent and promote the company (JLL) throughout the project
·  Prepare accurate and timely project progress reports
·  Attend JLL office for team meetings and to engage with the wider teams regarding business and operational infinitives
·  Assist in estimating project cost and thinking about key project challenges when bidding for new business
·  Help to evaluate and manage project risk
·  Have a commercial awareness and assist PM and QS in managing project cost.

·  3+ years of experience in a similar role
·  Bachelor in engineering or project management; 
·  English communication and written ability ; 
·  MS office and outlook skills; 
·  Analytical skills are plus; 
·  Demonstrated initiative;
